Scuseme – a new online service connecting Cambridgeshire businesses
Dawn Giesler has set up scuseme, a free-to-use online service that will connect people in Cambridge with local businesses and sole traders.
“Despite being in Cambridge for nearly 25 years and having a large network of friends to call upon for recommendations I often became really frustrated at the difficulty in finding good, independent and available experts,” she said. “If you are new to Cambridge it is even more of a struggle.
“I set up scuseme to fill this gap and provide a single resource to help put people in touch with locally available experts who can help them. I also want scuseme to provide an affordable marketing solution for these businesses who can often fail because of lack of marketing & PR exposure.”
scuseme has received a start-up government loan from Foundation East for its early-stage development.
